Telephone Features Available

The following features are available for phone lines provided by Strategic Consulting Group Inc. Some features have an additional fee.

  • Device Setup – line can work with an actual telephone – either VoIP or regular landline with an adapter.
  • Call Forwarding – direct incoming calls to another number (eg. a cell phone) including the ability to use the phone line’s voicemail, rather than the line where it is forwarded to.
  • Call Recording – stores an audio recording of incoming and/or outgoing calls.
  • Call Transcription – creates a written transcription of what is said on the call.
  • Direct Inward Station Access DISA – the ability to make calls and have them use the number of your Strategic phone line – not the line you are calling from
  • Fax – send and receive facsimile transmissions using an online portal or email
  • Inbound CallerID – displays the number and name of incoming callers (where available)
  • Automated Attendant / IVR Menus – incoming calls hear a recorded menu of options (eg. 1 for sales, 2 for support) that forward them to specific extensions or other features.
  • Outbound CallerID – displays a name of your choosing and your phone number on outgoing calls.
  • Ring Groups – allows for multiple people to receive calls from the same number or IVR option (eg. 2 volunteers receive calls coming into the main line)
  • Incoming/outgoing SMS and MMS – allows you to send and receive text messages.
  • Voicemail – allows callers to leave an audio message. Optionally can be forwarded to your email address, and can be transcribed.
